On the 20th of June 2024, join us for an Open Day at Whitney Sawmills, Herefordshire.
Register today for the opportunity to experience a tour of our working sawmill.
From learning more about Whitney Sawmills by guided tour to witnessing live sculptural & wood-turning demonstrations from Rolf Hook & Jason Wilkins. The day promises to be fantastic if you're interested in all things timber.
With additional support from exhibitors from Woodland Heritage, Border Oak, Grown in Britain, Twmpa Bikes, Samuel Souter, The Kings Foundation, Bella Bathurst and the Boat Building Academy, this is a day that you don't want to miss!
Tea, coffee & snacks will be available on site.

Important information:
Parking: Whitney Sawmills is in Whitney-on-Wye, Herefordshire, just off the main road on the A438. There is free parking on-site. Due to demand, it's important we let you know that this is limited. Whitney Sawmills has arranged an additional free overflow car park opposite the sawmills, the What Three Words for the overflow car park are: glides.essay.tricycle (https://w3w.co/glides.essay.tricycle).
From the main road, sawmill staff will direct traffic to the overflow car park. From the overflow car park, sawmill staff will be operating a free park-and-ride.
What to wear:
If we have wet weather, parts of the sawmills can get muddy so please wear appropriate footwear to the sawmills. This means closed-toe shoes, suitable for varied terrain.
